Took the screening test today for my PhD program... did not pass. Waiting to see what's next. Problems that stumped me:
lim x goes to 0 (tan x / x)^(1/x^2)
lim n goes to infinity (x^n + y^n)^(1/n)
Bunch of analysis on infimum and supremum.
P(X-Y < 1) where X,Y iid ~ exp(1).
positive definate/semi-definateness when given only characteristic equation of matrix A. Also finding rank of said matrix A.
